This page is about the progression of my art throughout my life.
I started doing art at the age of 4. Just like any kid, I started with gluing macaroni on paper plates and using the very cheap painting kits on construction paper. Not at all knowing that would lead me to where I am today. My first time starting to take art seriously was in 8th grade. In the same time period, I had my own solo art show at the place I went to after school. These were my first art pieces where I had people see them and want to buy them. This was the first time in my life where I felt accomplished. I had finished something, set my mind to it and did it. These are the pieces I made that were presented at the show.
I have been doing art ever since and have been thinking of doing something more. That’s why I started doing craft fairs. So, I can show off my work and who I am on the canvas. Doing craft shows for monetary gain is not what they’re about. They’re about the experience and who you meet along the way. You will meet the most interesting and amazing people at craft fairs because, for the most part, they have the same goals as you. The goal to get their work out there and seen. That’s why you’re doing this. To be happy and proud of yourself and what you’ve made.
